Our stay was brief as we only stayed one night since we were traveling to a wedding venue the next day in the countryside. Staff were extremely courteous and considerate to our needs. We were allowed an early check in which was very helpful as we caught a red eye flight and really needed some comfortable rest. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities one would need. They also held our luggage securely which allowed us to explore the old town a bit before the room was ready. Supermarkets, malls, eateries within the Old Town were all easily accessible. The bus (22) from the airport dropped us off right across the hotel in 30 mins. We will definitely stay at the Wellton Riverside SPA Hotel without hesitation.
Checked in very late at 0300. Staff was available and was very happy to see a nice and clean room before me. The room was a good size, and very clean. The bathroom was spotless and the bed had no hair or anything. Great location to old town, within walking distance of everything. Only complaint I have is that the people above me sounded like they wore bricks for shoes! Was annoying to deal with, but I Would stay again! Highly recommend.
We booked two adjacent rooms for our family of five (two adults, three kids). It was helpful that the rooms were next to each other, but they were not connecting. One of the rooms, meant for three beds, was incredibly tight and difficult to move around in, even though it was the same category as the other room. I asked the receptionist if we could change rooms, even for a paid upgrade to something more comfortable on the same floor, but she was unhelpful and dismissive, simply saying there were "no options at all." Her attitude made me feel like she didn't want to help. On the third day, I put the "please clean the room" sign on the door. The housekeeper was only a few meters away and I saw her looking at me as I hung it up. I left for the day and came back late at night to find that the room had not been cleaned. It was very frustrating to know she saw me, but still didn't clean the room. When I called the front desk to report the issue, the receptionist's response was cold and unhelpful. She said, "I apologize, and what time do you want your room cleaned?" The overall lack of service and care was a major disappointment and ruined the relaxing experience we had hoped for.
