Good 5star Hotel at Jin Jiang
DO NOT STAY HERE! Extremely dissatisfying stay here. My earrings were stolen from my room here. I placed them in a tray by the sink and specifically pressed the “Do not Disturb” button so that the cleaners would not enter the room. When I came back, my bed was tidied but my earrings were gone. The way the managers handled the situation got me extremely mad and I was so dumbfounded. They gave me 2 reasons as to why the lady still went in and tidied the room despite the activation of the do not disturb button: 1st reason: The lady was a temporary cleaner so she was not used to reading the electronic button. (So..? This is a you problem, not a me problem) also, after the cleaner left my room, the manager would come in after 5-10 mins to check the tidiness of the room. So.. the manager should be the one who has briefed her about the electronic button and display? 2nd reason from another manager: one of my relatives said that they could clean my room.. (by the way this did not happen, none of my relatives said this… this reason itself just made me question the integrity of the hotel staffs there.. with their logic, they mean that if a random stranger says that they could clean my room, they could enter my room without me knowing too) The people at the receptionist weren’t that helpful as well. They kept on pushing the responsibility from one person to another. I can understand Chinese and their conversation went like this “oh she has come down from her room, have you dealt with her?” Another one says “oh no” and proceeds to do her own thing. I was initially asking them in a very calm tone but because they didn’t give me any proper response, I had to raise my voice just to get their attention. They finally allowed me to talk to a lady who gave me one of the 2 reasons above and asked me to pass her my WeChat. I just feel very frustrated because they were dishonest, unprofessional and their problem solving skills were extremely poor. I can never give this hotel a second chance. Also, the room I got had a very strong mould smell. So, if I could give 0 stars I would. This is a very very very bad hotel. The staffs are so bad and they STEAL! Do not stay at this hotel!
