had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and everything was well taken care of. The service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome. A special thank you to Mimi—she was incredibly kind, helpful, and always had a warm smile. She truly made my stay even better with her great attitude and attention to detail. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay!
Love the old Wentworth Hotel, my work colleagues and I chose this place and it ticks all the boxes. Great service, great food, great atmosphere and plenty of parking. They have spent some serious coin on it since the old days. Definitely worth the visit 😊
Spoke to both managers about setting up a baptism lunch for my nephew last weekend. When I originally called the manager, he said it was fine to do. The Week of the event, I was told from the manager that due to a late send in for menu we couldn't do the 3-course menu. I said that was fine, however I didn't hear from him for 3 days. No run through sheet or communication was sent from there team about what WE needed from them, and no one asked what time everything needed to be ready. I came at 11:45am for a 12:00pm start and the tables were laid out, dirty, not wiped and no cutlery or plates. Ordered the food which was delicious but the only saving grace and I had to tell their staff to bring out plates, cutlery, cups for entrees. Then when it came to mains, the waiters kept getting confused and we had to help them do their job. Didn't place the food Infront of the people with their meals, just put them on the table for us to distribute ourselves. Had to tell them again to clean the tables for dessert and when discussed with the manager, the agreement was they were going to cut the cake as we paid the FEE. we had to cut our own cake and give it out. Horrible training for waiters by management, I shouldn't have to teach them how to do their own job and what's worse is, they didn't prioritize service for our event, if I didn't tell the staff what to do, they wouldn't have come out to help us. I'm so frustrated with how we were treated. they cared more about the people inside then our event. The food was amazing though, really enjoyed the food. I really hope management read this and do better, the staff can only do as good as the people that train them.
