My stay at the Wentworth Mansion was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome, and the hospitality throughout the visit was truly top-notch—especially from Fiona, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her warmth and attentiveness added a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. The highlight of each morning was the incredible breakfast—elegantly prepared and absolutely delicious, with a range of options that catered to every craving. And the view? Hands down the best in Charleston. Whether enjoying a quiet moment on the rooftop cupola or relaxing in the beautifully maintained common areas, the charm and history of the city were always in sight. Every detail, from the luxurious rooms to the impeccable service, made this stay unforgettable. I can’t recommend the Wentworth Mansion highly enough and am already looking forward to my next visit!
Everything about the Wentworth was incredible! Will and Adien were so helpful and kind, had a great time talking with them. The environment is so peaceful and welcoming. You get greeted by everyone, there are wine and food hours that allow you to socialize with other guest. The rooms were top notch, the beds were insanely comfortable and the bath was super nice. Location wise is very nice, it’s less than an 10 minute walk to King street and close to a lot of restaurants. Overall was a great trip and plan to come back!
My wife and I stayed here for two nights and loved it. Now, we stayed in Suite Nine, which is one of their best, so I can't speak for the other rooms. Suite Nine was spacious, having four separate rooms. The bathroom was huge with luxurious amenities. There were lots of antique furniture and classical art. The bed was comfy. We hung out in the garden room, which has a sofa and ample daylight. The staff bent over backwards (almost too far) to be friendly and accommodating. There are some bad reviews about how the building and decor are old, and that's true, but to me, this is what gives this hotel its unique charm. If you like old-time charm, stay here. If you want new, modern and trendy, keep looking.
