West by Five

We recently stayed in Victoria and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a very charming, comfortable and spacious house with lots of thought put into guests needs. It is a short walk to the town centre, with lots of choice in restaurants and pubs. It is also in close proximity to all the beaches, in particular Porthmeor. It is a great choice for anyone looking for a memorable stay in St Ives.

Victoria House is an amazing house refurbished to a really high standard. It’s spacious and very well equipped with lots of attention to detail. It’s in a great location looking down over Porthmeor beach and also panoramic views at the rear towards Godrevy, Gwithian and Hayle. Porthmeor beach (the picture is from the master bedroom) is a 5 min walk and all other town beaches are really close by. It’s also a short walk (5mins) into the heart of St Ives town. Lovely courtyard to the rear which is a real sun trap and parking beyond the gates which is tight, but we managed to get our A4 estate in. We had the most amazing time and the Cornish weather was beautiful. Without doubt we will stay here again!

We have stayed several times in this spacious and very well refurbished Victorian house with everything you need for a great family holiday. It’s ideally placed for town, the beautiful Porthmeor beach and the Southwest Coastal Path, so great for swimming, boarding and walking. We highly recommend it.
