Great golf courses, greens very difficult with ondulation but had great time. It was too foggy so i missed some great views but in general great experience

It's an incredible golf course - particularly the back nine. Also not bad value at all. In places it's maybe a bit too punishing, the par 3s have no real bail out shot on most, with 5 & 16 being especially tough if you miss the green. If you hit it straight you'll view it as one of the best courses you've ever played. If not - like this reviewer - it can be really penal. When I first played it around 6 years ago it didn't really suffer from too much real estate pressure, but there are a couple of spots now where it's affecting the course for the worse. #3 springs to mind Our experience though was let down by poor service in the shop and by the starter, and a terrible dining experience at the restaurant. It left us underwhelmed before we had even begun. They ought to take a trip to the new Dunas de Comporta course to learn how it should be done!

I pretty much loved the dining experience, but the lack of Terea or Delia sticks on the entire resort was pretty disappointing to me. When I saw the cigarette vending machine in the bathroom area, I got excited to finally get my Terea sticks after a long day. Unfortunately, after a long day of flights and travelling, they were out of stock. Also, when I came here in January, it was the same case. They never have the Terea products whenever I’m here and at this point it’s an essential for many living in Portugal and other parts of europe. I know you’re trying your best, but come on: you’re the only supplier of tobacco within 8 mile radius. Ridiculous. Shame.
