West of the Ness

We had a pleasure of staying at West of the Ness at the weekend with 2 other families with kids. It's such an amazing space for a large group, with off street parking provided. It has 5 fabulous, spacious, bedrooms, with plenty of natural light & very comfortable, large beds. Most also have ensuites. It has a really well equipped kitchen, with everything you could possibly need for your stay - plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots & pans, etc, etc for the entire group, an excellent coffee machine, plenty of seating space too, making it a very sociable space. There's then a further large, open plan dining room & spacious living room, with plenty of room for all guests to enjoy at the same time. The hosts have paid great attention to detail throughout the house - it is very tastefully decorated & is spotlessly clean. The icing on the cake for us though was the large hot tub in the private garden, which is not overlooked - the hot tub was ready to go when we arrived & the hosts even provide hot tub towels & flip flops for use by guests. We spent hours in it. It was so peaceful, gazing up at the starry sky, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. The location is perfect - it's only a stone's through from Eden Court & just a short, lovely, walk along the river into the centre of Inverness. Despite being so close to the centre, it is really quiet - our bedroom was at the front on the property, looking onto the road, however despite being a very light sleeper I wasn't disturbed at all by noise. The hosts have obviously spent a lot of time & effort getting this property up to the very high standard it's at. Every one of the 10 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay & we honestly couldn't find fault with anything!

We would highly recommend this fabulous property in an ideal city centre location, within walking distance of all local amenities. West of the Ness is a brilliant base for families and large groups of all ages and has everything you could possibly need during your stay, from board games, to egg cups and even an ice cream scoop! The five double/kingsize bedrooms are bright, spacious and inviting, with en suite bathrooms and tasteful, modern decor throughout. The beds were cosy and comfortable, and everyone in our party agreed that they'd had a great night's sleep. The living areas are spacious and beautifully furnished - perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing with a drink, or for family games nights, where everyone can get together comfortably. Our favourite part, however, was the large (spotlessly clean) hot tub in the lovely private garden. We spent hours sitting enjoying a drink here each day of our stay, unwinding after exploring the city. The hosts are friendly, responsive and efficient, and have clearly thought of every detail, from towels and flip flops on hand for the hot tub, to board games, travel books and Sky TV in the lounge. During our stay, we were lucky enough to get a sneak peek at sister property, Ness on the Lane, which was every bit as tasteful, modern and classy as West of the Ness, but with its own unique style and character. We would certainly return again after a brilliant relaxing long weekend in a perfect location. Thank you for your hospitality. We had a wonderful stay!

West Of the Ness was a perfect stay for our large group. It had an ample amount of space as well as multiple restrooms. The home was very clean and had all of the items we might need. The beds were very comfortable. Thank you for helping make our vacation amazing!
