West Park Hotel

Great visit to The West Park Hotel, slightly loud and lively on arrival so concerns about noise but could barely hear a thing from the room. The room was clean overall, nothing spectacular but at £150/night on a bank holiday weekend we wasn’t expecting too much. The bar was busy but staff seemed attentive. We decided to eat at the restaurant that was overall really good. From the starters to Chateaubriand and Sticky Toffee pudding desert everything was well cooked and presented. The restaurant itself was quite loud due to a large table and would benefit from a privacy screen from the bar itself to offer a better overall experience. The hotel was in good walking distance from parking and a multitude of bars, restaurants a places to eat. Great location, good food and overall a pleasant experience.

We stayed there last weekend for 2 nights with our small pet. From booking right through to checking out the staff, food breakfast drinks were excellent. Hotel very clean with a modern atmosphere and rooms beds ect very comfortable! Great parking availability outside for convenience. We had a lovely stay at The West Park Hotel for my mother-in-law's birthday. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great and an excellent selection of dishes. The rooms were nice and it's in a great position. Some of the systems aren't quite as organised as you'd expect for a hotel in this price bracket. Aircon wasn't working in a couple of rooms and they were very hot. We had to chase house cleaning a few times. It took a really long time for breakfast to be served on one day in particular. The hotel did resolve all of this to our satisfaction.
