West Point Airport Hotel

As a four star hotel, it is very basic and no frills: in some respects it resembles a good three star one. On the other hand, it has many positives: prices are very competitive and my room was comfortable and quiet . Breakfast , while basic and with few options overall, offers a surprising variety of good home made cakes. The location, while a charmless industrial area, has decent eating options and is of course great for the airport and for stopovers along the motorway. One feature I appreciated very much were the very kind and helpful staff, all of them. This is of course also a credit to the management.

We had one night stay in this hotel to catch an early fly from the airport. Positive: -,Included in the price you got 1 free shuttle bus ride per day to / from the airport. - Communications via email/ message was clear, useful and reliable. - staff at reception was friendly and kind. They provided us with plenty info about transportation to city centre and so on. - Value for money To improve: Even if the room was very clean, it was very small for 2 adults and 2 children. The beds in the living room was a pull out sofa, small and very uncomfortable to sleep on. Minibar did work properly so didn’t gets drinks cold.

Pros: The location was very close to the airport. We had an early morning flight and the hotel staff arranged free airport drop service(just that you have to mention it while booking) There's a McD, Decathlon and a very big supermarket, within walking distance of the hotel. Cons: The hotel facilities mentioned pool, but the receptionist informed us that it was not functioning for quiet a long time. The hotel could be updated a little more better, the WIFI was not stable. It didn't feel like a 4-star hotel.
