West Shine Hotel

We stayed for 5 days. And rooms were good. And it's in a busy hotel area. Food was good. There were Indian food as well, which we tried for a day. The jet spray didn't work in one of the rooms, despite multiple reminder it was not attended to. That was a small issue in an otherwise goodstay. Good place to stay and rates are reasonable

My stay at West Shine was quite comfortable. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping services available. The reception staff is responsive and helpful — they even changed my room upon request and assisted with carrying my luggage. The breakfast was enjoyable, especially the flavorful yogurt which stood out. There’s also an Indian restaurant on-site, Bombay Restaurant, which serves good food. The location is in a busy, commercial area. While this is convenient, it also means some noise from street traffic and nearby clubs, especially if your room faces the road. This could be a bit disturbing late at night. Overall, in terms of facilities and service, West Shine is an excellent choice for a stay. Tip: I recommend guests use the Yango app for transportation. Bolt drivers often cancel rides due to traffic, while Yango — though about 1 manat more expensive — tends to be more reliable and responsive. The hotel is situated on a busy street, and the constant noise from vehicles makes it difficult to relax. While the rooms are spacious, the air conditioning doesn’t work, despite Wina Travels claiming otherwise—which turned out to be untrue. After a long and tiring journey, I was disappointed to find that I had to carry my own luggage to the room. Overall, the service here has been not much welcoming.
