Westcord Hotel Eindhoven

The location is excellent to visit the city and the lively areas. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Had an issue with the room and got sorted by the lovely reception staff and was well looked after. Rooms are alright with the usual amenities. showers are bit dated and could do with better cleaning but beds are comfy.

Room was spotless and fresh, the shower was dismal, the large shower head had less pressure than the sink taps and had at least 50% of the nozzles not working. Our room had the jaccuzi, it didn't work. The lights came on fine but no jets. Found out that it won't work after a certain time. When your paying over the odds for this luxury youd expect to be told that it won't work after certain hours. Your room doesn't cover your parking either. €250 and id to pay an extra €25 to park at the multi story across the road. We had paid for our room in advance but had to pay a second time on arrival as the first charge was just a holding fee and it would be returned to me. Glad I had an extra €250 burning a hole in my pocket so I could pay a second time checked out yesterday and still waiting on my refund. Breakfast was amazing, food was all fresh and tasty. Would 100% stay again but would choose a basic room.

I booked 2 studios type room for 7 nights. Bad: - entered the room first time, smelled dusty like never been cleaned. - no cleaning equipment (no broom or vacuum cleaner) in the room. - housekeeping every 3 days, only offering new towels and make up the bed without even changing the bed sheets, not even offering to vacuum the floor. - bad design of shower in the bathroom. - parking only available at the public parking, due to renovation for hotel parking area. Good: - location city centre. - familiar with the city, used to live in Eindhoven from 2007-2011. Comeback to stay at the same hotel? not a chance.
