Western Downs Motor Inn

What a wonderful motel! This is our second stay and we were equally as impressed this time as last time. Beautifully presented room, so clean and comfy. We decided to eat in our room and our meal was very good indeed. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved our stay at Western Downs Motor Inn! Great value for money and honestly one of the cleanest rooms we’ve stayed in. The place has clearly been newly renovated — everything felt fresh, modern, and really well looked after. Check-in was super easy and the staff were so friendly, offering that genuine country hospitality you just don’t get everywhere. We loved having our own car spot right outside the room, and the bonus of Netflix on the TVs was such a nice touch for a relaxed night in. The full kitchen setup was so handy, but we also loved that room service was available from their menu when we didn’t feel like cooking. Overall just such a great experience — clean, comfortable, affordable, and the best country service you could ask for. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Miles!

What a great gem of a hotel. We had just completed a 9 hour drive and were bone tired. This was a stopover on our way back to Scarborough, Qld. The owner greeted us on arrival and made us feel welcomed. He was friendly and helpful. We decided to eat dinner at the hotel and were glad we did. Drinks were served promptly with a smile. The service was friendly and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. Just what we needed after a long day. The room looked like it had been renovated recently as everything looked modern. It was impeccably clean and spacious. At night the room was quiet. The bed was comfortable as well. We were told the hotel has a lot of regulars stay here for work in the area. We can see why. We highly recommend this hotel.
