Western Hotel Liwa

I really like your gym, and the trainer is excellent. I do have one suggestion: could you please consider purchasing some additional equipment? My company currently has 29 people staying in this accommodation, and more equipment would help everyone train more comfortably

Great stay at Western Hotel Liwa, with room for service improvement. Western Hotel Liwa offers a peaceful and relaxing escape in the middle of stunning desert scenery. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and good amenities. The pool area and outdoor spaces are perfect for unwinding, especially after exploring the nearby Liwa dunes. However, the service could be more attentive and prompt to match the overall quality of the property. With a bit of improvement in this area, it could easily become a top choice for desert getaways.

I would like to start by saying that the staff and manager at Western Liwa were incredibly nice and helpful — they quickly helped when I needed adapters and kindly arranged a late checkout for us, which I really appreciated. However, overall, I don’t feel the experience fully matched the price. I would have expected a higher quality stay. The pool was definitely nice, but the same music played on repeat the whole time, and since there were no other guests at the pool except my mom and me, the pool bar wasn’t operating — some cold drinks would have been great. As for the room, the interior was beautiful, but the bathroom had a water issue. After calling engineering, they fixed it using something that left a terrible smell, so we had to leave the room open for a while to air it out. Also, the shampoo and soap bottles were empty — we arrived late and were too tired to call for replacements. The balcony could have been cleaner. I understand it’s outdoors and birds are common, but at a hotel like Western, I expected more attention to detail. Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing too. The hash browns were the only thing we ended up eating. In short, while the team was truly wonderful, the quality of the stay did not meet expectations for the price.
