Westgate Blue Tree Resort

We stayed 14 nights and enjoyed our visit immensely. The grounds and pools are kept immaculate and it's obvious the staff take pride in their work. The staff were friendly, helpful and happy. The apartments are very clean and well stocked. It's fair to say the apartment we stayed in (block 18 113) was a little tired and the sofa could do with a deep clean as it's seen better days. A few cushions on the sofa would also be welcome. Apart from this it was comfortable and the shower was good. My husband thought the bed was too soft but I found it comfortable. The location is perfect for both Disney, Disney Springs, I drive and Universal parks. We used the free shuttles provided to get to the parks a couple of times and these were always on time with friendly drivers. We mostly took Ubers and Lyfts everywhere and never had any problems getting one. There are some good places to eat nearby, a few gift shops and the supermarket is about a 10 minute walk.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The manager is clearly on top of everything, making sure the property is well-maintained and guests are happy. The resort is perfect for families — the rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. There are four pools to choose from, which kept the kids busy and happy all day! We also loved the barbecue area, perfect for a relaxing cookout. One of the best parts is the convenience: there’s a dollar store right nearby for anything you might need, and a Wawa within walking distance for quick snacks or meals. Overall, a great place to stay with family — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Despite having a lot of bugs in our first room, including a cockroach, we enjoyed our stay. Close to all the parks, staff was accommodating to help us switch rooms after all the issues with the bugs. The new room was good, but smelled like cigarettes had been in there at some point and despite cleaning, still lingered. The beds were comfortable. Also, we thought all the rooms had been remodeled this year or last based on listing, but it was just the single rooms, which we didn't use. Overall a good value for the money and great location.
