The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The A/C in my room kept me very cool. I was there for the pool tournament, so it was very convenient to just go downstairs, and there it was. I also joined the WestGate rewards and that gave me a $50 per day food allowance. That was nice. I would stay there again.
My parents are owners at this location and we were mostly satisfied with our last stay. As owners we are supposed to be supplied with the "best" rooms, owners suites. The rooms were spacious but noticed no closet for one of the main rooms possibly because of the huge tub. The huge tub that had the faucet head broken and dangling partially inside the tub. Our "concierge " that is provided to us during our stay was kind of attentive, and did ask about any issues in the rooms stating he would speak to the appropriate team to get it fixed. Not sure if that has occurred. Since our stay we had family friends go to the resort. The concierge assumed my father was also on that trip, but was unable to attend last minute. The "concierge " messaged my father a very rude message that stated my father "blew him off", but my father was never there. Not sure why he responded the way he did, I would expect a little more professionalism from a previous lawyer. I am writing this on behalf of my parents because they don't usually write reviews but I am vocal and would like to provide an insight if anyone is pressured to purchase a timeshare at this location.
I took a flight into Vegas from NY and I got to the hotel and checked in as normal. When I got up to the room I hung up my jacket as it was not needed there. Staying so far wasn't bad although it needed lots of updating in the north tower. When I left early in the morning (8am) I took a cab to the airport. When I was in the cab I realized I left my jacket in the closet. I immediately called the hotel to let them know and give my info to them and I would pay to have it shipped back to me. They said I had to call back when lost and found were open during my layover. I called and they said they would check later that day. I returned home and called again and they said they did not see it. I know for a fact it was there as I went from room to taxi and to the airport. I made a call to security to fill out a report and they said someone would call me. It has been 3 days and still no call even though I have called them everyday since. I am unsure who cleaned the room or even checked the room when I called but somewhere my jacket magically disappeared. I do not trust the security or housekeeping in this hotel at all and would suggest keeping an eye on things if you do not want them to disappear. I will never stay at this hotel again. I will take my business elsewhere where my things wouldn't be stolen out of the room.
