Westgate Palace a Two Bedroom Condo Resort

Rooms are very well designed. Hotel is clean and tidy. Customer service is excellent. Marlyn at the front desk is helpful and patient, always smiling and friendly. Best hotel in Orlando at a reasonable price.

This is a nice, clean, reasonably priced place to stay on vacation. It is more like renting an apartment than a hotel room. The rooms are clean and nicely set up but sparse. There are no rugs and the lack of furniture causes every sound to echo loudly. Especially at night or in the early morning. The room is perfect for a family of 4 or 5 but doesn't have anywhere for more than 2 or 3 people to relax together. The 'resort' has excellent but limited food service. The 'room service' is terrible. Absolutely abysmal. It's just grub hub from restaurants unknown. It took an hour and a half for one of our orders to show up. We had to cancel a 2nd order because it still hadn't shown up around 2 hours after ordering. You are much better off ordering groceries from instacart. The pools and hot tub are the cleanest I have ever seen with a great view of the lake. They also have a small playground, basketball and beach volleyball courts. The 'gym' is small but top notch and effective. There are also a couple of grills you can use overlooking the water. It's weird that they only have a bar on the weekends for limited hours. All of the employees were fantastic about everything. We were not a fan of all the drivers of the shuttle service the resort uses for Universal but that's for a different review.

Matt Richardson helped us at the cabanas at the pool and provided excellent service. He thanked us by name. We were impressed. Everyone from Marylin at the desk on Thursday and check in (cannot remember her name I’m sorry) has been super helpful.
