I’ve been visiting Guatemala for many years staying at several locations and this historic hotel has become my go to. Wonderful staff and good restaurants. Good size rooms that are always clean. Can be a bit tired and worn out in spots but all that is offset by cleanliness and friendliness. The pool area is a great little sanctuary from hustle and bustling city. Your loss if you don’t stay here.
First rate full service Bonvoy hotel in central location. Rococo or neo-classical decorated rooms if you like those sort of embellishments … then this is your place. Great breakfast buffet and ample exercise facilities. Clean and organized. Nice, private, executive lounge on the ninth floor. Recommended.
Clean, nice, and great location. My only issue was that the room had a mold-like smell no matter which floor. It was raining my whole trip so that could be part of the issue. Service was great, breakfast was delicious.
