What a WONDERFUL weekend!! Beautiful, relaxing, CLEAN!! Michelle at the front desk really went above and beyond to facilitate a fantastic stay! Our server, Summer, at the 20 Twenty was amazing! So fun! And hats off to all the valet staff including Jack and Devin for the shuttle rides and timely retrieval of our car every time we needed. I cannot say enough great things about our experience--especially since there were two other big events happening at the hotel and we were noticed, attended and cared for. 10/10 recommend!!

Outstanding Service and Impeccable Event Execution! I recently hosted an event at The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa, and I can't say enough about the incredible experience. From start to finish, the hospitality was exceptional, and the attention to detail made all the difference. A special shoutout to Lucinda and Felix, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Lucinda was incredibly organized and responsive, making the planning process seamless, while Felix handled the day-of coordination with professionalism and care. Their dedication and warmth truly elevated the entire experience. The venue itself is beautiful, with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere, but it's the staff that makes this place truly stand out. Thank you again to the entire team for making our event unforgettable! Highly recommend for anyone planning an event or simply looking for a top-notch resort experience.

I requested when making the reservation to have an early check in. I called the morning of to ask again and to remind them I was traveling with a special needs young adult. We got there slightly an hour an hour half prior to check in. The clerk said room not ready here’s a voucher go eat and walk around we will text you. We walked around for an hour and half, now approximately now 20 minutes after check in time, We were told to wait longer. My son’s disappointment and behavior increasing. Putting us off while I stood in line and watched five others get room keys. Those are the ones I had seen. The clerk tried to make excuses but this was unacceptable. I’ve never had such poor service at a Westin. Honestly, this check-in ruined the whole mood for our one night away. I had to sit and argue to get a room. When the other clerk said we present rooms on who is physically here,. What we have been here walking around trying to be patient! Finally the room after arguing the whole process made me feel discriminated against because we were a single parent family. The hallway smelled as if someone dumped a box of pet deodorizer in it! Horrible toxic smell. Finally after fighting to get a room we decide to go to the pool and it was closed to glass being in it and someone cut their foot.We then tried to use the shower/tub and we could not turn it on actually the handle came off. Waited 45 minutes at 8:00 at night to get maintenance there.After he fixed it the tub didn’t drain. He had to take a part the drain to pull a huge clog out. I looked at him and said so tell me how did house keeping even clean? He nodded right back! Disgusting! Upon leaving the disappointing hotel there were the same dirty dishes in the hallway when we left at 0900 that were there when we arrived the night before at 4:45. This is poor management! Do not recommend.
