Great hotel. I enjoyed my stay and felt very comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite. Hotel room was spotless and very big - very pleasant surprise. Would definitely recommend.
The hotel is fairly new and therefore is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and comfort. Excellent location for visiting Le Pouligen as its only a 5 minutes walk along the pier into town. The swimming pool was actually a lot smaller than one expects for a hotel this big. With 4 to 5 people in the pool it was not possible to swim. More or less only used by the kids. The aforementioned pool was nevertheless great when it was empty :) The breakfast was a little bland and limited for a four star hotel of this size. The staff were quite friendly and welcoming and i especially have to say a big thank you to Constantin for the very friendly and welcoming service on the reception and for the invaluable insider tips for nice beaches in the Region. Le Pouliguen is such an amazing place, we will definitely be back and Westotel provides the perfect accommodation for a comfortable stay. Best wishes, Raul
This is for sure not a 4 stars hotel, but mostly 3 stars. Check-in was ok despite we didnt get the room we expected (room with balcony), we had to pay extra to get a room with a parking view balcony! Wow, amazing! 😭 Rooms are ok and clean, cleaning team is very nice and professional. Parking is safe to park your car. Location is good but definitely need a car to go to La Baule beach, get to a shop/ restaurant, or even visit Guerande. HOWEVER, check-out was a TERRIBLE experience, we can clearly see that the lady at front desk was not professional and understanding at all! Clearly, customer service was not her top priority! We left a bit frustrated despite we had an overall acceptable experience. Last but not least, hotel might need a refurbishment, especially changing beds, which are a bit old and not comfortable, also training some staff on giving a better customer service.
