Good hotel if you want to stay near Tours and enjoy the quietness. There are a few shops nearby and a couple of bars but they close early and Sunday. The reception staff is great and the bar staff too. Special thank you to Jordan who helped us to sort out the thirsty group. Breakfast is great with lots of choices. The bed is very comfy same the pillows.

For a comfortable night during our trip it was the perfect stop. It's conveniently located outside of the city in a commercial district.

This is one of the most memorable stays as it was one of the worst I've ever had, and left us with stories we can now laugh about. The staff made us feel like they were doing us a favor by letting us stay there. For example, when we arrived after a long drive from Paris, all we wanted was a beer. When we asked the desk, they huffed, "No!," and pointed at the clock, it was 10pm. I said so, it's 10pm, and? Once they agreed, the bartender poured a 3/4 pint and slammed it down on the bar. Thanks! The next night, we couldn't get into the locked parking lot. Why it's locked, I have no idea. After several attempts to call the desk, ring the bell, make a phone call, we abandoned the car and jumped the gates. Just weird. The last night, after being at the Le Mans race all day, we got in just before 10pm again. We asked if they had any food. No was the response. My friend asked, "Do you have peanuts?" Yes he said, so we accepted. Again, he made us feel like he was doing us a huge favor by supplying about 200 calories of nuts. I honestly felt like I was in a German hotel, and somehow doing everything wrong- as if I had to relearn how to stay in a hotel. It became comical, with us guessing what could possibly go wrong each night we arrived. The day we left, the parking lot was full of busses of very hold guests who were on a castle tour, and suddenly it made sense, that THIS is who they cater to, because who else besides us dummies would ever stay there again?
