We were delighted with our stay here. The location in the town of Hermanus was perfect, a block away from the cliff path and right where all the restaurants were located. There is even a grocery store in the mall by the hotel. The service was impeccable and they even went above and beyond for some requests we had. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable and modern. We could not have asked for more. It was a perfect stay for our whale watching experience.

I stayed at Well Coast Hotel and honestly, the only highlight was a staff member named Amin. He was incredibly helpful, always smiling, and truly made a difference—wishing him all the best! The hotel is located above a supermarket, which is convenient, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. There’s no sense of privacy or cleanliness. Just after we entered our room, someone knocked on the door and walked in without permission, fiddled with something behind the door, then left—completely disrespectful behavior. One of the bedrooms had such a horrible smell we couldn’t even step inside, and in another room, we found trash left behind by previous guests. Thankfully, we were only staying for one night. Not recommended at all, except for Amin’s exceptional service.
