Whaleshead Beach Resort

The bartender and the staff at the restaurant were absolutely the best. So friendly. Walking across the road to the ocean was a good hike but so beautiful.

I’m not sure where to start… the cabins haven’t been updated very well. I’m pretty sure the toilet seat is from the early 2000’s. There’s siding coming off outside and an overgrown bush that knocked out a railing fence that has obviously been ignored for a long time. The shower lasted 8 minutes before the hot water went out. The oven doesn’t work. The heater doesn’t work. It smells off in the whole place especially when you walk in. Broken blinds. The shower floor has grip tape peeling off. The door to the bedroom has a handle that is missing but has been taped over and had gloves shoved inside, smh. It’s just dingy and they obviously don’t care about fixing things. And the office even asked “how the cabin looked” as if they didn’t already know about its problems. On the other hand… The living room and dining room are very spacious and I love the windows. This is in a great location across from Whaleshead. The fridge is a good size and there’s a lot of cooking utensils and cookware. Lots of storage space for anything. The wrap around porch is pretty cool.

The beach is treacherous to drive down to. Bring 4x4 off roader. Be ware sink holes
