Whalesong Hotel & Spa

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was a good experience from start to finish. The rooms were clean and had amazing views. The staff were friendly and helped us getting the bags to the room as I was on crutches. The food was definitely up to standard and we enjoyed it very much.

We had room 55, a recently redone appartement. All stuff worked, tv aso... No airco but a fine working fan. Breakfast is good with a beautiful view. I love the main building, with a thatched roof and a fantastic construction that you can fully see from the inside. Very beautiful, just like the views over the bay...

The facility is in a good area, and the views from the balcony are gorgeous. The rooms can be improved as it has a dull smell to it. Presentation of rooms I'll give a 3 star, everything was closed and no lights were on when we arrived. The TV did not work, and we had to ask for assistance where an internet box must be used. Streaming any channel was difficult and frustrating. They need to improve on their service as we had to eat in our rooms as they were not prepared to accept us. Dinner, steak, and chips were not good. I sent it back. The desert was also not good as it was Malva pudding, which was cold. To enjoy Malva pudding, it needs to be served with hot custard. The morning breakfast is comething to look out for. The presentation is 5 star quality, and the breakfast deck overlooks the ocean. Marvelous Overall, I will give this establishment a 3 out of 5.
