Loved the hotel! We traveled as a group of 8 and the staff took very good care of us. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, everything was perfect. The entertainment staff specifically Baby Face and Peekachoo made sure we had a great time and our main bartender, Carlos, was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Great experience and will recommend to others!

Had an absolutely fantastic family vacation here. Everyone enjoyed the resort very much, but a few things gave it 3 stars. First and most important was the food. I would give that a 4 maybe 5 out of 10. Everything was bland, and tasted the same. Felt like anything made with any meats was gamey and tough. A weird rule here was every pool was only open from 10 am to 7pm. When you have kids on vacation they all want to swim as long as they can. The rooms were great, very spacious, well appointed, but the bathrooms lacked any kind of exhaust vents and after a shower the humidity was terrible in the bathroom. They supplied incense to cover any odors….lol. And the resort rooms are along very long open to the outdoors hallways that echoed every noise anyone made (and there were a lot of drunk people yelling in the hallways late at night) and was very loud when they had their evening performances until late at night. I will say I loved this vacation and enjoyed my stay there.

Things started off great; we chose to upgrade to the preferred club level and were greeted upon check in with a cold towel and champagne and things went downhill after that. Our concierge let us know we had $200 in resort coupons to use on wine, romantic dinner, or the spa but that you typically need to reserve those services (and the hibachi grill) 4-7 days in advance. We did try to book spa services through our concierge but he just kept telling us he was checking with the spa. Our room smelled like mildew/mold/mothballs, but keeping the fan on 24/7 seemed to help. TV was broken and it took several calls to get it fixed. We spent hours poolside and only saw a server twice…in four days. Bellman broke our suitcase (accidentally) at checkout, didn’t push the lever to lower the handle just kept jamming it down and now it won’t come back up/stay up. The worst part was the huge cockroach that was in our room on our last day. That thing was as big as the palm of my hand. After we finally were able to kill it-I went to grab our suitcases and a lizard jumped out at me. There was a decent gap under the door so I’m assuming that’s how they got in since we only opened the patio door long enough to go in/out.
