The staff was so incredible. Friendly and helpful. Our flight was delayed, and they were very accommodating. There is a computer station, a massage chair, and a garden area for sitting and relaxing. The lobby had iced tea, fruit and pastries for guests. Great location in the middle of everything. The room and shower were very small, but clean
This was a very friendly and convenient hotel. We had a couple of rooms on the third floor and they were large, not noisy, with two large beds and a nice bathroom. The staff on reception were very friendly a d helpful at all times. This was particularly good when we had to wait for our taxi before our flight for an hour or so. The lounge was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and had a lot of options. You can cook your own fresh waffles and squeeze your own fresh juice. Bacon and scrambled eggs are also available alongside the usual Italian cakes, yoghurt and cereals etc. There are several reasonably priced restaurants nearby. All of Rome’s main attractions are within walking distance but you can also get buses and underground trains nearby.
I stayed at this hotel, which is advertised as a 4-star hotel, but in reality, the experience was very disappointing. The main issue was the unbearable heat in the room – there was no air conditioning because the stuff said that there is no cold a/c in winter even though it was a warm week, and the only way to cool down was by opening the window. This meant choosing between sweating all night with the window closed or opening it and suffering from the constant noise of the street. When the window was closed, the noise insulation was good, but the heat made it impossible to stay comfortably. Additionally, I had a very unpleasant experience – one morning, while taking a shower, the water overflowed and flooded the entire room. When I reported this to the reception, their response was absurd – they claimed it happened because I “used too much shampoo.” I have never heard of such a thing, especially in a hotel. Moreover, this was simply a lie – I have short hair, and my wife didn’t even wash her hair throughout the trip to keep it straight after styling. The hotel sent a technician to fix the issue, but he failed to do so, and we ended up spending the last two days of our stay without the ability to shower. The only positives were the friendly staff, who were always helpful, and the decent breakfast. However, the overall quality of the facilities was very poor, and I’ve had better experiences in most 3-star hotels. If you’re looking for a real 4-star hotel, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
