Excellent location for walking the Rochdale Canal. The rooms are first class, well furnished and finished to a really good standard. The complementary breakfast will set you up for the day, and is cooked fresh to order, including a vegetarian choice. Really helpful staff, both at breakfast and during the evening dining period. There is a good choice from the menus to suit most tastes. Car parking is available, but the courtyard is not very large, so it can be a squeeze to get parked. There is public car parking available nearby in Hebden Bridge. Recommended accommodation for a break in Hebden Bridge.

We booked for the tasting menu, and we arrived to the venue experiencing an extraordinary power cute - just wanted to sing some praises because the staff dealt with it so well. Food was incredible. Jake and Lydia looked after us and they were both so hospitable. They mentioned we were the first to try that tasting menu- it was unbelievable and they made our anniversary very special. Thanks so much!

Really great pub with some really nice friendly staff. Food I had was really great, and super tasty although the wait between courses was quite a long time, took just under 3 hours for two courses. Some of our group felt the food wasn’t hot enough and maybe had been stood a while. Would go again as great place, waitress was superb and overall food was good.
