Attention to detail in the room was second to none. Very clean indeed. Staff very happy and courteous. Food very good and breakfast we found exceptional. A great stay linked with our visit to Chapel Down winery. Thank you and we will defo return.
2nd time staying in this lovely pub with rooms. Glad we returned, and this time we were able to enjoy breakfast too. Upgraded room was airy and spacious, at the back of the building, so nice and quiet too. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace outside before dinner. The menu is typical pub food, but everything on it was well-prepared with tasty, fresh ingredients. Breakfast was worthwhile too, with a wide selection of cooked options, in addition to cereals, croissants and yoghurt. Big shout out to Hannah, who always seems to go the extra mile, not just for guests but for her colleagues too!
Beautiful room in a beautiful hotel/bar/restaurant. Great sized room with good amenities and very comfortable. My only negative was the restaurant. Some lovely fresh and tasty food, but served with frozen fries. Home made chips would be preferable. Also, I would have liked the option of removing the service charge before paying.
