White Monarch Hotel

The hotel was good and average, I expected better rooms and service for the price, but the room, although small, had an interesting design and renovation and gave the feeling of a boutique hotel. The hotel and rooms were quiet and the hotel had very good access to the mall. I left clothes in my room, after two hours I went back to the hotel to get my clothes, but they told me it would not be possible for another two days and it was strange to me. I am going back to Istanbul next month, I hope my clothes are there. 😅

I had a very disappointing and disturbing stay at this hotel. The room was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. It was small and oddly designed, with a column right in the middle of the space, and the bed’s headboard was broken. There was no paper towel or trash bin provided inside the room (just in the bathroom), and every surface was dusty and grimy. The walls were stained, and shockingly, there was a bloodstain on the wall near the bed. The sheets didn’t seem clean at all, it felt like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. The entire place desperately needs a deep clean and full renovation. Even the room door didn’t close properly, it wasn’t fully sealed and didn’t feel secure or safe. I was with a group, otherwise I would have canceled and left immediately. If I had been alone, I wouldn't have stayed even one night. The room felt so unclean that I didn’t even dare to open my suitcase. I also avoided using the hairdryer because it was coated in dust and looked completely unsanitary. The shampoo provided was disgusting — it smelled terrible, looked old, and had black particles floating in it. I couldn’t trust using any of the toiletries. Even now, a week later, I’m not sure whether there were bedbugs — I killed two insects in the room during my stay, which made it even more uncomfortable. The young man at the reception was rude and clearly uninterested in helping guests. The breakfast was awful — nothing fresh or enjoyable at all. For €55 per night, this hotel is absolutely not worth the price. The only two positives were the location (close to the metro) and the working air conditioning. Unfortunately, that’s nowhere near enough to make up for the overall terrible experience. I strongly advise avoiding this hotel.

The Location is Perfect, But the rooms Are Not very clean, Hair and Trash from previous guests in the rooms and I even saw an Insect on my bed… I dont know Why Its 4 Stars also because in previous reviews about the rooms not beeing clean, the hotel awnsers with how important it is to them to be clean… did they Never care about the feedbacks or is it just unlucky? Next time i would rather spend more Money for a cleaner Place. We booked this Place because of the spa and Wellness area, but once we arrived they told us, it is closed… i am happy Its only 3 Nights …
