It was our first time to P-town and not having a lot of understanding of where to go, we lucked out when we were able to land this gem of a Hotel. The decor on the first floor and in the room are first class. The location is amazing... just a few steps from the main area with shops and restaurant's makes it ideal in a town that favors walking. What I enjoyed most about this amazing place is the actual White Porch....We met some of the most interesting people, including the owner Tom and the people that work there. All of them were so helpful with giving us recommendations for Bars, Restaurants and other activities. If you're going to P-Town this is a great place to stay....and they are open beyond the summer months. So give them a try....you will be happy you did.
We were visiting from England and spent 3 nights in this inn. Our room was lovely and spacious, the breakfast sandwiches are great, and the porch is great to sit on and watch the world go by. Really friendly staff especially Gibb the manager. The 4 o’clock wine on the porch was also a really nice touch as it meant we met and got chatting to people we otherwise wouldn’t have done and made some new friends!
We have been to the white porch three times now and if it’s available we won’t go anywhere else. The property is very well managed. They have different style rooms so hopefully one for everyone’s taste. They have a wine tasting / happy house that was great. The actual front porch is a really nice spot for a have a coffee on or a glass of wine. The location can’t be beat. Right in the center of town, but still quiet.
