WhyHotel Baltimore Inner Harbor

Time spent at WhyHotel was quite enjoyable. This is the perfect place when you want to get away without going too far. The ladies in the office were so friendly and very personable. I have to extend a great big THANK YOU to Markita. She has helped me each time I have been there. I had SO many questions initially and she answered each and everyone one of them. Not once did she seemed bothered. (I called several times before I stayed) . The apartments are wonderful and the view is fantastic. I love that you can stop in for snacks or coffee during the day and they even have a wine reception in the evenings! Oh my goodness I forgot to mention the bed…WOW. I want one at home. It is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I typically do not rest well when I am not home but here….I did not want to get out of bed. Thanks Why Hotel for a great experience!!!!

Our stay at the WHY Hotel was nothing less than Exceptional. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a friendly security Personnel who directed us to the office where we were met with the friendliest smile and warmest hello. There was tea, coffee, wine and snack bars that kept us nurtured from our long trip. The friendly and professional staff was accommodating when our flight landed a few minutes early and we were there before our check-in time. Everything was clean and efficient. We need a key card to get on our floor and to access different levels of the hotel which made me feel safe. The rooms were updated and modern with a balcony that overlooked Beautiful Baltimore. We also received excellent service from the housekeeping staff. Our stay was wonderful and we will return and recommend colleagues every year.

The kitchen fountain was very loose, the blinds in one bedroom were broken such that only one side would raise, and one bedroom's door wouldn't open from the inside, a definite safety issue. Fortunately, the attached bathroom was another means of egress. After reporting these issues one was fixed the same day, and the other two were being addressed. Be aware that the building is not located in a swanky area. This is downtown Baltimore, so there are people sleeping on benches and sidewalks, transients talking to you as you walk by, and you hear your fair share of sirens. The hotel itself is safe with security downstairs and locked doors that require a key card. The room was very nice and comfortable. The shower head must aerate the water, because the water falling was so comforting, and I usually don't ever care about those types of things. The bed was very comfortable. The service is very good. All of the front desk (located in a room like the apartments) attendants were friendly and helpful.
