This hotel was unique and very welcoming. While the building is historic, the interior feels modern and creatively designed. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. When we arrived I noted that the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We also visited two of the hotel’s bars, which were lively places with live music and a huge menu of cocktails and bourbons. Would 100% come back to Zurich again would look forward to staying here!
We had lunch in the garden of the hotel which is a beautiful setting and the food was absolutely delicious. It was a very hot day (30 degree’s) and at one point two people of our group were sitting completely in the sun, including their heads. We asked for some shade, the answer was simply that they didn’t have sufficient umbrellas and left it like that. Only after another table left they would move the umbrella to our table. That spoiled the experience.
Room decoration really not adequate and nice. Service greedy specially at breakfast: everything is made upon instruction received that you consume the least possible for free. Only the people at the reception are really nice especially the concierge. For this price I will definitely choose another hotel even if we have to pay more.
