Wil7 Boutique Hotel

RECOMMENDED!! EXCELLENT BOUTIQUE-STYLE ROOMS AND BREAKFAST, AUTHENTIC-FEELING BERLIN/LOCAL EXPERIENCE. This is not a normal chain hotel, but instead a boutique accommodation comprised of three clusters of rooms in the bottom floor of an apartment building. The building is a classic, with large hallways, high ceilings, and a nice communal courtyard. The surrounding area is busy and working class so don’t be surprised if, like the residents of any urban apartment, you get the odd drunkard or graffiti kids passing by with loud music. If you want a standard hotel, or are afraid of socioeconomically mixed neighborhoods - do not stay here, it is not for you, stay in the tourist quarters. If you want to feel like you are in Berlin as a quasi-resident, and have access to the tourist areas and museums plus walking access to K-burgs various markets and restaurants, and its tons of great doner kebab (try Doner Plus and Mustafa’s, very close) — stay here. The rooms are fairly big, beds are great, the showers are 9.5/10, very good in-room amenities and fast stable wi-wifi. Breakfast is standout with customized table service from a good team and superior, Australia-grade coffee. The only thing I would change is the TVs in the rooms, which are tiny. Overall - fantastic for those seeking a well-priced, personalized boutique experience.

Found this hotel by just researching on Google Maps and we were both absolutely delighted by what we had discovered! Such nice staff, tasteful Interieur anywhere you look, feels almost like living in Berlin as the hotel is in fact part of a very nice, typical Berlin residential house. The breakfast is just yeah! So buffet, just the right things, staff again just delightful and a great room to start the day in.

I had a wonderful stay at the Wil7! Great location, beautiful, impeccably clean room, fantastic staff that made me feel right at home. I have sciatica and the quality mattress was perfect, I woke up pain-free every day. I rented a bike from a shop around the corner and there were plenty of racks in the building's enclosed courtyard to keep it locked safely at night. I will gladly return next time I visit Berlin.
