We absolutely LOVED our stay at Wild Resort Ella. The owner was one of the friendliest and most helpful hosts we had in Sri Lanka. Every morning on a stunning terrace looking over the tea plantations and Mahamevnawa Temple. The staff was able to coordinate everything for us, including day trips, tuk tuks, laundry, and recommendations for where to eat and what to do. Would 100% stay here again next time I'm in Ella.
Beautiful place to stay, pool is great, staff are friendly and helpful, there is a squirrel that caused a bit of havoc but the hotel does what it can to stop them bothering the guests. The breakfast was great too, it’s a little outside of Ella not directly in the city but the staff help organise tuk tuks when needed.
Not finished. All day construction work. Room was OK, but canceled our stay here due to the construction work. Hotel is just not finished yet. Owner did accept the cancelation.
