This is a small adult only hotel that is just perfect. It is peaceful away from roads and perched beside the lake. We had the dreamscape package for 6 nights and stayed in the panorama log cabin. From the moment of arrival to leaving our stay was perfect. Staff were from and helpful. Food was always delicious and plentiful. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, the jacuzzi on the patio was fantastic to enjoy the peace and quiet and star gaze and aurora watch. All activities were well run, small groups, no more than 10 and leaders were friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable. The husky sledging and snow shoeing were my favourites. Will definitely return.
What an incredible place to spend 4 nights, could have stayed longer. The location is idyllic and so peaceful, staff all very friendly, nothing too much trouble. We stayed in the panoramic lodge which was perfect. Spacious cosy and well equipped, not that we cooked at all. Lovely to have the sauna and hot tub with an incredible view, perfect to warm up in after daily activities! We had read varying reviews about the quality and choice of food but we found it all excellent. We like to try different regional food, having said that, there were always plenty of options if you don't!! If I was going to be terribly picky... i would like to meet the midget who designed the ladies toilet in reception....only joking...although a little extra leg room would be useful. We did the reindeer and husky day, loved every minute. Cross Country skiing...good to have a sense of humour for that. Not so gentle snow shoeing...our own choice...Great fun. Aurora snowmobiling...bit icy but really great experience. Just loved it all...an incredible memorable experience. Not a cheap break but worth every single penny 👌. Thank you Nangu for the best time.🥰
I really love my stay here. The people makes all the difference. The staff are very nice and accommodating. They always answers your questions, and if you have a problem, just call and they will find a solution. Big shout out to Nora the activity coordinator who helped me book the snowmobiling and make it work for my schedule because I don’t have much time here. I stayed in the lake side hut which was amazing because that night, there was Aurora!!! I was so lucky. However one issue I have is the transfer from Ivalo is €100 one way, which is very expensive for me who travels alone. I wonder if the resort could have work something out for me that could have made that transfer more affordable. Whichever way I’m looking at it, €100 for what is essentially is a 20-something minutes drive is very expensive. Otherwise everything was great. And I can see myself coming back :)
