Wildhive Callow Hall

I secretly booked to stay in one of the Wild Hives with my partner following my surprise proposal earlier in the day at Bamford Edge. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect, magical and memorable. Shortly after booking, I received an email from the Front Of House Manager asking when I would be free to speak on the phone. We had a call and discussed what they could do to help make our stay extra special. She suggested decorating the room with fairy lights and rose petals on the bed, putting a bottle of Prosecco in the room for us to enjoy, having pizzas delivered to the room for dinner and finally finishing the evening off in the forest toasting marshmallows over a fire. I really appreciated all the thought that went into this and it all turned out perfectly. We loved everything about our stay and it made a special day very memorable! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable from start to finish - we will be back!

Truly a magical experience. We arrived here into the evening and had a delicious dinner and settled into a peaceful slumber into the hive. Truly an experience amidst the castle beauty. We used the sauna after dinner and it gets hot quickly and is wonderful for a good sweat post travel days

Lovely hotel, clean and well finished rooms. Service on the main reception was very good. Service in the restaurant is not very attentive, had to keep asking for service, to place food and drinks orders, for tables to be cleaned outside etc. It wasnt overly busy when we stayed. Fantastic bike rides and walks in the local area.
