Wilson Boutique Hotel

First time in Barcelona. We stayed at the Wilson Boutique Hotel, we must say this hotel is in perfect location and you have all the stores and attractions all in walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Barcelona, it is very clean and they are very helpful with answering any questions you may have and great with suggestions about dining/ events near by. Can’t wait to go back!! 🫶🏼

I would say rooms were rather big and the breakfast was really good. I cannot say that the staff spoke English or any other language other than Spanish. The cleanliness of the rooms were also not bad. The location is somewhat walking distance to some attractions and sites. Guests can also order to the hotel from any food delivery apps such as Glovo to dine in.

Had an unpleasant stay here. The air conditioning wasn't working in our room so I went to the reception in the evening to let them know. She said to not modify the dial in our room as it will not work and instead she can change the temperature for us behind her desk. Went back to my room to go to bed and it was worse than before. Woke up at 3am because I couldn't breathe, tried to call reception but they wouldn't pick up. Went down to the reception and the guy said our air conditioning was turned off by someone. Seemed the lady at the reception I spoke to turned it off instead of lowering the temp as she had said. Still, it was unbearably hot. I have never experienced this before where the temperature dial in a room doesn't work and we need to speak to reception to change the temperature in the room. For a 4 star hotel, it is unacceptable to have no air conditioning when it is so hot out. Also, the room was much dirtier and cramped than photos. 2 stars only because they stored luggage for us, which we appreciated. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to others.
