Windmuhle Apart Hotel & Spa

I will always say that an establishment it’s defined by the service that people provide, this is truly the case here. This amazing Hotel in the middle of the woods, 5 minutes away from VGB downtown makes the difference, from the lady at the front desk, Miriam, to the maintenance guy Lucas, the masseuse lady Candela, everyone that we encountered was professional, friendly and attentive. The premises are well kept, rooms are clean and cozy, beds extremely comfortable, bathroom finished with stone ceramics and and a massage shower heads, the units downstairs have little patios, the units upstairs have balconies. Our room was downstairs and was facing one of the side streets, we sat down in the afternoon/ evening/ morning and enjoy the green landscape, big trees with the sounds of chirping birds. Outside pool, heated pool, 2 jacuzzis, barbecue grills, tennis court, pool table. What else do you need? I only wish I could have stay longer ! A wonderful place to go with the family! Excellent cleanliness, a breakfast buffet, coffee, tea, mate cocido, and instant milk, and in the morning they provide the bills and biscuits. The only thing I can say that's not negative, but that was lacking, was the parking. It's a bit limited, depending on the time of day due to the number of cabins. Another thing that doesn't seem too important to me, but that happened, was that we couldn't watch TV the last two days because I told them it wasn't working and they didn't check. But as I said, it's an excellent place and the cleanliness is very good. These are minor things that didn't affect the stay. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

In short, it's a nice place, but it needs maintenance... The rooms are nice, being an aparthotel, they have a sink, a counter, a breakfast area, and are very well-equipped: glasses, plates, cups, cutlery, a microwave, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, and a minibar... The breakfast is bland, but the bills are very good... The bathroom is strange... it's a door that you open like a closet, and it's the bathroom. A trickle of water comes out, very, very little pressure; an older person has to stay there for a long time to bathe... the water is hot, but almost none comes out. It has nice features, but it needs maintenance... The shared barbecue area is nice, but there isn't even a broom. They ask you to keep it tidy and clean, and there are few trash cans in the patio and barbecue area. Very little lighting inside because a fluorescent light bulb was out... The service from the blonde receptionist was poor, with very little desire to welcome people. We couldn't get into the room until we paid for everything... waiting outside with kids and bags after a 6-hour trip... Very unfriendly. You have to be related to the owner to be there, otherwise I can't understand the point. The rest of the staff was very nice, friendly, and attentive. We thought it was expensive for what it was... we expected something else for the price...
