Windsor California Copacabana

I’m giving this hotel a strong 5-star rating mostly for its amazing location—right in the heart of Copacabana, just steps from the beach. The views from the rooftop pool are breathtaking, and it’s the perfect spot to relax after a day out. Check-in wasn’t the warmest experience, as the first gentleman we encountered came off a bit unwelcoming. However, this turned out to be an exception. The rest of the team quickly turned things around and showed great service throughout our stay. I wish I could remember all their names, but Theresa really stood out—super helpful and friendly. There was also another woman at the front desk who was equally kind and attentive. A few tips for future guests: • The fitness center is tiny, but hey—you’re in Copacabana! Go for a jog outside instead. • The sauna is basic, but it does the job. • The rooftop pool is a gem—great views and a nice vibe. • Housekeeping was excellent. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly each day, and the staff were really respectful and professional. One small thing to note: they didn’t restock the shower gel once it was used up. I recommend bringing your own just in case. Overall, this is a solid hotel with great value, excellent location, and a staff that makes the effort (shoutout to Theresa again!). I’d definitely come back

From the moment I arrived, the service was excellent. I got in late, but check-in was quick and smooth, and and Leo, the guest services attendant, kindly helped carry my luggage to the room which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and alternatives were available on request. Throughout my stay, the staff were incredibly helpful and always greeted me around the hotel. Special shoutout to Ismael from the breakfast team and also Leo, from guest services, both were fantastic and truly made a difference during my stay. The location is perfect, and any queries I had were answered promptly. The hotel also offers currency exchange, which was a convenient bonus. There was a warm, friendly atmosphere at the hotel which made it even more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again.

Amazing staff, great hotel and great service, we didn’t book breakfast because in my opinion is quite expensive, but I didn’t try it so I can’t judge it. Overall great hotel with Vapor Sauna (not normal sauna), great pool, great room service, tv and everything you need, towels, shampoo, moisturizer, everything, they have a safe easy to use, all very very very clean. Location is amazing and safe
