Their dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay helps compensate for the hotel's dated aspects. While the rooms show their age with older furnishings that could use updating, they remain comfortable. The highlight is the breathtaking view of Taichung from the upper floors, though the experience would be enhanced by more thorough exterior window cleaning. Despite these minor shortcomings, the Windsor's prime location and outstanding service make it a worthwhile choice for travelers. The staff's commitment to guest satisfaction helps overcome the property's dated elements, creating an experience that still offers good value. Recommended for those who prioritize excellent service over modern amenities.

The location wasn’t so convenient if you travel by train ( THSR & rail). I had buffet lunch here, didn’t stay over. The service was good, the buffet was plentiful, and wild options. However I found the arrangements of the seats were a bit too crowded.

We stayed here for five days and had a good experience. The gym, sauna and pool are really good and comfortable. The breakfast has so many options it’s great, we had it three out of five days we were there. The gym is big and has everything you need. (Gym staff well the lady we met she could have been a bit more friendly.) The people who cleaned our room were amazing and deserve a raise for the great work they did. One big negative is the min purchase in the cafe I just wanted to sit there and have a coffee but had to buy more than a coffee to sit there, not sure this is fair when you are already staying at the hotel. Parking is good, can be busy and some of the spaces are quite tight, but overall never really struggled to get a car space. The hotel gave us a small Christmas card and gift which was a lovely touch. Water taps, available just outside the room which was also great. Location wise it’s great and easy to get around.
