Windsor Marapendi Hotel

This is not a 5-star hotel, not even close. It all started at the front desk, with the receptionist being quite cold and mistreating us. Room was small, and closer to what you'd expect from a 4 star property. No coffee machine, no kettel. Bad quality amenities, the bathroom needed renovation badly. Overall, staff was rude and unprepared. The pool was small and crowded. The pool bar had bad food, we asked for fried codfish balls, and it was oily and frozen on the inside, the kind of basic mistake you don't expect from a cheap bar. Wouldn't recommend it at all, and I'm staying away from anything Windsor related from now on. This destroyed a good experience I've had at Windsor Barra before.

I recently stayed at the Windsor Marapendi Hotel, which has many positive aspects, particularly its great location. However, my experience was marred by the service at the kiosk in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, the staff there were not very polite, and I found the service to be quite disappointing. While I would recommend the hotel itself for its amenities and comfort, I cannot advise staying at the kiosk. It’s a shame, as the location is excellent, and with better service, it could have been a much more enjoyable experience.

I do not know who gave 5 stars to this hotel....I am not sure if it deserves even 3. I used to work in 3-4 star hotels and they were way better than what we had there. The front desk is extremaly slow and cold. No curtoise, no smile at all, nothing. When you ask them about something, they do not know. The check in was very slow, in our reservation and during the check in, we informed the reception that we needed twin beds, the receptionist confirmed! When we came back after 2-3hours to pick up our keys, we noticed that there were no twin beds, the room was aging, no tea, no coffee, no kettel (it happened to me first time) and that the room was adjoining....I was pregnent at that time in my first trimester, not feeling very well, couldn't sleep cause I could here my neighbour plus the party having a place in a hall on my floor (yes, yes, a party!). I chose 5 star outside of the city to have some kind of standard and calm, unfortunatelly it wasn't the case! The swimming pool on the top small, with very limited places, but with a nice view. The gym is really tiny. What was surprising me as well is that they do not have their own sunbeds on the beach. We sent them an email way before our arrival asking for late check out, never received the answer....The only positive point of this hotel are the bellboys. They are smiling, welcoming, respectful, always ready to help and speaking English! The front desk should learn from them! They were the highlight and a big surprise during our stay. definitely do not recommand this place, avoid it!!!!
