The owner was really helpful with the self check in as we arrived late. I contacted him via Whatsapp and he helped me with the parking situation. Every day from 9-10 there is breakfast. Two ladies make fresh cakes, ask you what type of coffee you want,... They are the BEST! Their English is good, so they can help with everything you need. You're in the city center, so that's very convenient. Parking is free, 5' walk. Everything was clean.

This was a really charming little cottage in the historic center tucked away on some steep marble stairs in medieval Montalcino. The wonderful host, Cristina, was so helpful and courteous. She is also a world-class pasta chef and told us where to get her handmade pasta in the local restaurants. Wow. The breakfast area will filled with 4 other couples traveling and enjoying all the finer things Montalcino has to offer. We felt like guests in a home. It's just about 30 stairs up from the main center of the town and walkable to the castle, all the shops and wine bars, restaurants and more. Clean, quirky, cozy and affordable. It's well worth the walk.

great location with cozy rooms. the staff is helpful and a discount for parking is also provided from them. keep in mind that access to the rooms is done via a tight corridor on a second floor building. other than that, it's a lovely and intimate location
