Wine Resort Villagrande

We stayed here for three nights in July 2024. We had two of the winetasting five course dinners. It was very good. We were worried that five courses would be too much, but each is a small portion. We saw Mount Etna erupting multiple times. Other guests alerted us and we went down to the driveway parking area for a clear view. 😱 Mount Etna erupting did keep us awake at night. But I had hoped to see at least some smoke during our visit, but this was so much more! It is like thunder and then there were also pellets of rocks raining! I booked well in advance and I think we got the best room in the place. It was on the 2nd floor at the end. We had a large tile shower and a private balcony overlooking the vineyard. The wine was very good. The morning coffee was the best migliore! I enjoyed seeing the very relaxed farm dog Ernesto too. What a sweetie. ❤️ My fiancé wants to go back in 2027 for their 300th anniversary. Grazie mille!

We have stayed in this winery twice and both times incredible experience. Restaurant prepared great tastings.

Incredible place to stay! The view from the pool is unreal. The staff is super friendly and the food was incredible.
