Winstead Beach Resort

A truly fabulous gem of a find, the Inn Beach Resort! Excellent and helpful staff, laid back atmosphere at this wonderful beach front Inn. Lovely beach, porch and decks on the shores of Harwich Port Nantucket Sound. Walk to many nearby restaurants. We love this place. It's obvious the owners do too and it shows!

The Winstead Beach Resort is delightful. Old New England charm, small private beach, thoughtful and accommodating service, charming dining/sitting room and very enjoyable breakfast buffet. We were so comfortable here that we were content in our room when a coastal storm blew in. Location is ideal: you can walk to a number of Harwich Port restaurants and drive to many more.

Strange to me Google shows this place as a 2 star hotel, I'd call it a 4 star boutique Inn. We enjoyed our first visit to the Cape this week. With all the places to choose, we were so glad we chose the Winstead. We stayed at the Inn off Parallel so we could use the pool. The kids had a blast in that beautiful pool. The grounds are so pretty and the interiors are gorgeously decorated. When we wanted to go to the beach, we were able to use the facilities and private beach at their oceanfront location a short drive away. And the free breakfasts in the morning was a great perk. The staff was very friendly, as well. And the great room is a perfect place to gather with family to talk, enjoy a snack or a game night (they have games in the cabinets). I can only imagine how cozy it must be during the winter with the fireplaces blazing.
