Nice, clean hotel in the middle of nowhere, actually in between big stores (no qrocery store). However, the airport is only 10 min. away if you have fast taxidriver. Good breakfast. Very nice staff.
Good standard for the rooms but we didn’t get the room serviced after the first night which was very disappointing. Good breakfast range
A very uncomfortable stay. we booked as part of a large party so were given a discount, when booking we had to email in for this discount. We were given no option of picking what room we wanted. We found out two days into our stay that there were two levels of room - Economy or Superior. If offered, we would have paid for a superior room as the economy room was very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. A few days into our stay we found out that we had actually overpaid for this room. luckily the polish speaker in our party found this out for us and sorted out our refund. The walls were very thin, we were woken up every morning either by people walking past our room or the cleaners banging the wall behind the bed! We had to ask for hangers as we were only given 3. After using the wardrobe we found new white stains on our clothes that weren’t there when we arrived. obviously there is something in the wardrobe that hasn’t been cleaned properly. the shower tray was bowing terribly when using the shower. i was scared it was going to cave in whilst i was using it! There’s no shelf or anywhere to put your shampoo/soap in the shower which made using the shower very difficult. The AC wouldn’t work when turned on, then once i got it to work and wanted to turn it off it wouldn’t switch off meaning we were breathing in AC air all night and waking up with a sore throat. the room itself had no character. the rooms on the website are advertised to feel warm and welcoming. the room was GREY and had no paintings or photos on the walls. we were woken up at 2am to a phone call, our party had all left the day before so we don’t know what that was about! it was very difficult to get back to sleep after. We also had someone attempt to enter our room at 7am the next morning. Again we didn’t know anyone in the hotel at this point. if anyone is looking to stay in krakow i would urge you to stay closer to the city in a more comfortable and welcoming accommodation. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the airport, it’s not possible to walk. Travelling to the airport from Krakow center took 45 minutes. When checking out we had no “how was your stay” or “thanks for staying with us” “have a nice day” etc. it’s very clear the staff aren’t interested in ensuring you have a good experience.
