Wittelsbacher Hof Swiss Quality Hotel

If you're expecting a five-star luxury hotel, this might not be it, but if you want real hospitality in action, keep on reading! What Wittelsbacher Hotel may lack in high-end decor, it more than makes up for in value, warmth, and excellent customer service. Frau Angela was super friendly and helpful, always ensuring we had all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. At breakfast, Frau Gada and her colleague greeted us with genuine smiles and were quick with our much-needed morning coffees & teas. The breakfast itself was just right, a nice continental selection as well as a warm breakfast. The wellness area is a lovely bonus. It includes a clean swimming pool, a proper 85°C sauna, and a brand-new infrared cabin perfect for unwinding after a long day of hiking. Another big plus: the hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the train station and you receive a complimentary city travel card.. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. For the price, this hotel delivers far more than expected. I’d happily choose this authentic, comfortable experience over a five-star hotel any day.

I've seen a lot of comments about how outdated the hotel was, but my stay was great. Didn't try the wellness area so I can't comment on that. Very nice host (Martin) who provided service with a smile. I had a room with view of the mountains. Thanks a lot!

Rooms are comfortable and food has more varieties. Since we reached the hotel at 12 am, they charged heavily without any concern. However been thanked for giving us room in that later night to have good sleep after 6 hours of driving from Frankfurt
