I’m not a guest at this hotel, to be honest, but we received a very warm welcome nonetheless. We had heard great things about the restaurant and the rooftop. Unfortunately, access to the rooftop is reserved for hotel guests, but the reception staff went out of their way to help us. They recommended other places, booked us a table at their Michelin-recommended restaurant, and even allowed us a quick look at the rooftop. We were truly impressed by the efficiency and kindness of the two people at the front desk.
Staying at the Wittmore was such a joy. The service was perfect with a friendly staff who went out of their way to meet our needs. The decor was gorgeous with attention paid to the smallest of details as well as to entire rooms. The rooftop sitting area was relaxing with a beautiful view of the area. Food was superb. We ate both breakfast and dinner there and were so glad we did not choose to try another local restaurant, I rated the location a five also as it is near so much. It is quite a surprise to see a small, dead end alley with a stunning entrance . We have been fortunate to stay in some lovely places; this one ranks tops, Kudos to the staff and management. ,
The Wittmore Hotel is hands down one of the best stays in Barcelona. This adults-only boutique hotel oozes character and charm — it’s truly something you have to experience to fully appreciate. The only downside was the service in the bar/lounge area. I found myself repeatedly having to ask the front desk if anyone was attending to the space, as staff seemed to stay tucked away in the back. When service did arrive, the cocktails were absolutely top-tier — some of the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the attentive moments were short-lived, and the staff often vanished again, even with a noticeable number of guests present. Empty glasses and dishes were regularly overlooked, which made the experience feel a bit neglected for a luxury hotel. That said, I’d still highly recommend The Wittmore. Its hidden location down a quiet, dead-end alley adds to the charm and makes it feel like a true escape in the heart of the city. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾.
