Wood Hall Hotel & Spa

My recent visit to Wood Hall Spa was an absolute delight and exactly what I needed for some much-deserved relaxation. From the moment I arrived, the serene atmosphere of this beautiful country house set the tone for a perfectly peaceful experience. The spa facilities, though compact, are wonderfully maintained and offer everything you need to unwind. I particularly enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and the warm, bubbly spa pool – ideal for melting away any stress. The steam room wasn't working but only little complaint. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The stunning views of the West Yorkshire countryside from the hotel grounds are breathtaking and add to the overall sense of tranquility. Whether you're looking for a relaxing spa day or an indulgent overnight break, Wood Hall Spa is a fantastic choice. I left feeling utterly refreshed, rejuvenated, and already planning my next visit! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious and peaceful escape.

We had afternoon tea, which was delightful, at a beautifully set table overlooking the countryside beyond the hotel. I liked the tea, made from proper tea leaves. The only thing that detracted from the experience was the annoying presence of a few flies in the room.

Good quality food & drinks, however must be the most expensive drinks I’ve bought and I’m from London! Beautiful rooms - no hairdryer? Otherwise a great hotel and very attentive staff which is nice to see this style of service is still available.
