This place feels like a scam. Booked through agoda, room decoration was nothing at all like in the pictures. Bed was rock hard and room had strong disgusting smell of cigarettes. The guy at the reception (which was near impossible to find, no instructions were given) gave me my money back when I complained, so that was nice at least. (I never post negative reviews online, but now feel the need to warn about this)
Like a scam! There is no Wooden Maple Hotel at the Soho building like what they show on the booking websites. I booked and pre-paid through ivivu. com then couldn’t find the hotel. Even the “staff” at room 33-60 said in the past it was Wooden hotel here but now he doesn’t know where the hotel is. I recommend you to try Snowbell at 28th floor, same building.
It’s very noisy. You can hear the sounds of the music from the outside surrounding KTV. It’s a karaoke bar, and their WiFi it’s terrible. It barely works half of the time I staying in the room. It’s dirty. It smells like either cigarettes or somebody urinated in it and the bed sheets are dirty with pee stained, the tv it’s all in Chinese language barely can’t watch it.
