Woods at Sasan

I visited Terracotta Restaurant last night and had a wonderful experience. The ambience was cozy and soothing music. The staff were polite, attentive, and made us feel welcome.The food was absolutely delicious – especially the spicy Chipotle pizza. Special thanks to Ms. Rajshree for special take care of us. ☺️

We had an incredibly comfortable , refreshing and memorable stay twice for my husband’s Birthday at woods which is tucked away in heart of Gir Jungle. From the moment we arrived , the staff made us feel welcomed with warm hospitality and attention to details. They even upgraded the Room and made us surprise with birthday cake. Waking up with sounds of chirping birds, peacock calls, and greenery all around is pure bliss. We even witnessed fireflies at night. Food was delicious and Heartfelt Thank you to Miss Rajashree and restaurant staff for beautiful surprise as Birthday Brownie. However, We missed the live music this time which we enjoyed very much when we visited 2 years back at terracotta during Dinner. Overall, it was peaceful escape from busy daily life. Hotel is very well developed and landscaped but could do better with maintaining it. Rooms were not properly cleaned and bedsheets were not spotless. This could be ignored but not with the price they charge. Accommodation is very very overpriced. Food at this place is the worst. DO NOT ORDER ANY CONTINENTAL DISHES. Indian food like Gujarati and Punjabi is good. Their restaurants are not having enough space to accommodate buffet rush hours. On top of it their Alfresco the Italian restaurant was closed or their wood fired oven was not operating. We should expect far better stay with the price we pay.
