Woolley Grange Hotel

We hired the meeting room here for 2 days as well as some bedrooms for one night. The staff could not do enough for us. Dylan in particular was awesome and looked after us even remembered allergies and making adaptations without even asking. The rooms were lovely too, as was all the food. Highly recommended.

Came here for an afternoon tea and spa experience, and it was really lovely. Afternoon tea was sublime. Their pastry chef really knows what she’s doing, and it was a real treat. The venue itself is quite dated, but honestly in quite a charming way. All staff we met were wonderful. Spa treatment was good too, only thing I’d say is the spa area is more of a pool with sauna than a full “spa” experience. It’s also family friendly which is great, but not ideal if you’re looking for a more peaceful experience. Otherwise I’d recommend it!

Went for afternoon tea, was really nice but not worth £30 per head.. I would say £30 for 2 people was enough.. it’s not like you get much food for that price however the food was lovely but would baffle me that people spend that much. It was given to us as a gift but I wouldn’t return any time soon to spend this amount for the same experience.. Staff were friendly however our waiter was a bit weird and didn’t see a smile out of him once.. was like he didn’t want to be there.. the grounds and house was nice but I wouldn’t return under there prices.
